PDA Cruiser can be used to inventory and tabulate trees and logs. It retains job and tree data that can be entered, edited, and deleted by the user. Job data includes name, board footage scale, comments, and the data of trees belonging to the job. Tree data includes species, diameter, number of 16'' logs, disposition, category, latitude, longitude, altitude, and comments. Built-in lists of tree species, disposition, and category are provided. You can enter additional entries to these lists. Cruiser has extensive built-in help to guide you in its operation. As soon as tree data is entered, Cruiser automatically computes board footage, which can be in Doyle, International, or Scribner scale. Board footage can be viewed on a per job, per tree, or per species basis. The user can change the board footage scale for a job at any time. Data can be transferred from Cruiser to your PC. The data can be viewed and manipulated in an Excel spreadsheet. Data is transferred to your PC in Comma Separated Value (CSV) format.
